Games for Children on Rainy Days September 25th, 2009

These are games you can play with your children on days when its raining.

1. How still is the water.

Have your child lay down. They are the water. You are the wind. When you blow, if they hold still – they win. If they move – you win.

2. Fox and rabbit.

The child is the rabbit. If they come into the room – they are instantly caught and eaten by the fox and they lose. If they stay out of the room – the fox goes hungry and they win.

3. Stuck in rush hour traffic.

Have your children sit down. They are now stuck in rush hour traffic. The first person to move loses. They should know that it helps to get really irritable.

4. Graveyard.

Have your kids lay down. Tell them that they are dead people. The first to move becomes undead and goes straight to hell.
